Beginner
These classes are ideal for you to learn all the fundamental principles of Pilates, focusing on the basic exercises on which the rest of the classical Pilates repertoire is based. If you have never done Pilates classes before these are the classes for you. I ask you to start with the Beginners class before moving on to any of my other groups. Similarly if you have previously done Pilates and had a break or have done Pilates with a different Studio/Teacher, (not Body Control), I recommend the Beginners classes in order to fully understand the Body Control fundamentals before progressing in order to gain the full benefits of Pilates.
Improver/Intermediate
These classes require clients to know all the basic exercises and are more challenging with more flowing movement.
Advanced
These classes are a serious workout. This is an hour of flowing movement requiring much stamina and knowledge of the exercises, so is only open to those clients who have been attending the intermediate classes and have no movement restrictions or injuries.
Reformer
A Reformer session can benefit anyone looking to enhance their Pilates practice. The feedback gained from working with the spring resistance on the Reformer accelerates improvement in your Pilates whether that's aiding rehabilitation from injury or giving you an extra challenge alongside your Matwork classes.
